Nomo

I saw this painting on my way to a cinema today. It said that the painting was Nomo, of course the baseball player now in the US. I don't know much about baseball so I don't go farther than it.  I really hope he will oneday dress like this and show up to the game. Giving out some wrong information about Japan is very much fun sometimes.  Check if the old guy riding a bicycle wears the makeups and the hair style, and the Kimono just like the Nomo in the painting. Mmm, you have got to have your eyes wide opened to see the difference maybe?

映画館に行く途中にみた絵。アメリカでプレーしている野茂らしい。あまり野球には詳しくないので、この話はあまり遠くまでいけないけれど、いつかこの格好そのままで、試合に参加して欲しいな。ありえない日本の事情を人に教えるのは、結構楽しかったりする。自転車に乗ったおじいさんが、この絵みたいな化粧や髪や服を着てるかどうか、どうかチェックして欲しい。目を精一杯大きくしてみなきゃ、分らないかな？

And thanks for the tips about the framing. I was at the edge of the street and managed to have the painting and the guy in the shot.

About your perspective towards photography, yeah, try make your own style. I checked your gallary a bit, I see you trying to capture some unique structures with people, you can develope it better, I think there is some potential in the style. Keep it up!

For myself I am looking for making photos with a good balance between this kind of visual things in the city (for me Amsterdam) and the people living between them. For me this photo could be cut off above a little, so the relations changes a little direction the man on the bike beneath.

Nevertheless a like the impression of the photo very much.

一瞬を読み取って、視覚的に訴えるものにする。human watchingしてないと、なかなか難しいですよね。

この写真、いいですね。ちょっとカルチエ・ブレッソンを想起させます。彼の「決定的な瞬間」とは、画面の中に疑問とその答えが同時にある一瞬のことだ、と書いていたことがあります。ブレッソンは、決して「やらせ」はせずに、ひたすらそういう決定的な瞬間が訪れるのを待っていたのではないかと思います。
　この写真にも、無数にある瞬間の群れの中から、ある一瞬を切り出したような面白さがありますね。すごくいい。
